Have been using photo mechanic and Thunderbird for ages and generally do not have problems - I select the images I want to email right click send photos by email set the size, write the message click OK and the message comes out of Thunderbird for me to send.
Then last night I did that but when I click OK I get a pop up saying error unable to send email via MAPI. I have reinstalled and rolled back Thunderbird, have checked Thunderbird is default email etc and it is still happening. The only references I can find to this issue are several years old and involve old versions of software with different menus and settings.
This is fairly urgent as I send several emails to clients each week and often need the functionality of being able to send jpgs straight from NEFs without having to convert the NEFs.
