We've tested extensively on macOS Mojave with no such issues.  I'm sorry that you're having difficulty.  Can you get me the logs that Photo Mechanic produces?

If you have PM5 it is as simple as going to the Help menu and choosing "Reveal Support Data" and then a Finder window will come forward showing you a zipped PM.log file.

If you are trying Photo Mechanic for the first time and Photo Mechanic 6 is all you have then you'll find it in the following way:

Switch to the Finder.
From the "Go" menu choose "Go to Folder" and enter the following:

~/Library/Caches/Photo Mechanic

Then click the Go button.
In that folder you'll see a file named PM.log
Select the PM.log file and right-click on it.  From the contextual menu that appears, choose "Compress PM.log" and after a moment a file called PM.log.zip will appear.

Then back in the forum, reply to this message and below you will see the "Attachments and other options" link.  Click on it and use the Attach: section, clicking the Browse... button and select your PM.log.zip file (you can switch back to the Finder and drag and drop it into the file chooser dialog that appears.)  Then click the Open button.

Finally, post your message and I'll be able to take a look at your log to see what's going on.

Thanks,

-Kirk
