PM6 just killed an image

I just used PM6's "move" function and during the process PM6 came up with an error message.
After clicking out of it, the image in question was no longer on the source drive nor on the destination. All gone.

This is reproducible - restoring the image to its original location and moving again yielded the same result.

I'd like to see your Photo Mechanic log.  In Photo Mechanic go to the Help menu and choose "Reveal Support Data..." and moments later a Finder window will come forward with the zipped log file selected.  Use the 'Attachments and other options' link when you're composing your reply to this message and there you'll be able to upload your zipped PM log file.

You're welcome and thank you for the log file.  Can you grab a screen shot showing the settings prior to starting the 'move' operation?  Use the 'Attachments and other options' link when you're composing your reply to this message and there you'll be able to upload your JPEG format screenshot.

BTW, I made another test - the image was initially moved to a volume on my NAS and I tried a move to a local SSD. Same result though.

I should also mention that it only happened with this one PNG. Other image files work properly.

No problem. It's an image I downloaded through Google image search. (Know these guys?  )
