Can't start PM6 on Win 10 (1803 x64)

I installed PM6 on a Win 10 (1803) machine and was not able to open the program. After the trial popup I get the attached message. Un- and reinstalled it but nothing changed.

Also one wish: please include the old icon into the exe. The new one is imho too overloaded.

I was not asking to change the new icon just suggesting to additionally embed the old one into the exe.

Even if I did, I couldn't get it to display in the main window title bar anyway or make the icon on the desktop change to the alternate one.

I know nothing about Macs but Windows allows users to assign any icon to a program. I could for example extract the PM5 icon and use it with PM6. Lots of exe files have multiple icons included (as does Photo Mechanic.exe).

I tried another clean install and still get the same error message. See attached PM.log
