Hi everybody,

what are effective settings for <Disk cache size>, <Reserve at least> and <Memory cache size> in PM to browse about 1000 JEPEGs
and
cache settings in PHOTOSHOP to open about 30 files ?

I'm using an intel iMAC, 2.5 GB RAM, 250 GB Disk (Partitions: 100 + 100 + 50 GB).

I can't speak for Photoshop directly but I wouldn't allow it more than 40% of your memory.

For PM, then I would suggest:

1024 MB, 512 MB, and 500 MB respectively.
