Reverse geocode not working properly
« on: April 03, 2019, 06:11:16 PM »
Hi, Kirk
I have tried the new feature Reverse Geocode in PM6 and found out it doesn't work very well, especially "Never overwrite existing data".
I also find the instructions panel very confusing...for example I do not understand what is meant by "locations shown"...
Thanks in advance.

I do not understand what is meant by "locations shown"...

The IPTC Photo Metadata User Guide explains what it is and why the legacy "Location" became "Location Created" and "Location Shown", but that may not be what you need? https://www.iptc.org/std/photometadata/documentation/userguide/index.htm#!Documents/locations.htm

Thanks for your reply. For sure it helps a lot, but still there is a problem with the option "Never overwrite existing data"...

I also noticed this and mentioned it a few topics before already. Never got an answer.
