Delete orphaned catalog images
« on: May 04, 2019, 06:52:27 PM »
MacBook Pro 10.14.4

I wondered what would happen if, using the finder, I manually deleted some images from a folder that had already been added to a catalog.

The result is that the images still show up in the catalog, but without the green dot. Trouble is I can't seem to get rid of them now. "Remove from catalog" doesn't work. Deleting goes through the motions (even plays the trash sound effect) but does not remove them from the catalog. So I'm wondering what the intent is for this scenario when images are moved or deleted... how do we deal with it?

It will be addressed in a later beta.
