PM4.5 and ICC profiling
« on: April 24, 2007, 08:25:31 AM »
Hello,

I´m using PM4.5 (XPversion) and when I ingest my Canon RAW shots , the info field tells me ICC profile is sRGB. This is very strange to me because I set my 5D to RAW only and Adobe RGB.

Does PM 4.5 remove the Adobe RGB and changes it into sRGB?

I can´t find a way to change this.

rgds
martin.

I just noticed the very same thing. Would love to hear an answer to this.
5d OS X PM 4.5 have not checked my 1ds2. JPG holds the correct ICC but raw goes to SRGB. Camera is set to adobe rgb.
Very odd.

Ok I just checked does the same thing to the EOS1DSII :o

Great to hear Kirk.
Just in case anyone else reads this. The images do open up in DPP,Camera Raw and Lightroom tagged as Adobe RGB. Those are the only converters I have don't know about others.
So it seems that the color just looks lame in PM at this time but the images are fine.
Thanks again Kirk.
