2 problems with PM 6 - MacOS 10.14.5
« on: June 01, 2019, 08:06:19 AM »
Hi,

I am using Photo Mechanic Version 6.0, build 3143 (3bc32e6) on my Mac Pro (End 2013) on 2 screens. While having the contact sheet on one screen I am using the other for inspecting the image. When I am flickering through the images the contact sheet is not "following", meaning the selected image disappears once it reaches the end of the window, so I have to scroll down manually to get to the image.
The other, quite annoying problem is, when I zoom in to check focus and flicker through the images without zooming back after each image, it takes some time (beachball) to zoom back. Sometimes I need 2 attempts to get it back to window size.

Has anybody experienced the same problems? Any solutions?

Thanks
Ralf

I just checked all of this in PM 5. No Zoom problem, but scrolling....

Hi Ralf,

I think that I had the same issue using two monitors, and the contact sheet not keeping up.

It's a simple fix, Go to File / Preferences - then move across to the 'Preview' section - then tick 'Always make current Preview visible in Contact Sheet' and 'Synchronize single selection between Preview and Contact Sheet' in the bottom right hand of the window.

With a bit of luck, that should solve your first problem.

Hope this helps,

John
