Random black screen on starting slide show
« on: May 18, 2019, 04:00:46 PM »
I did some more testing by uninstalling the new version and reinstalling Version 6.0 build 3023 (40f5885).  It works fine as does Version 5.0 build 10949 (20d085a). I reinstalled the new version and the problem returned.  I will test on my laptop when I get  chance.

With images selected start a slide show.  There is a short delay and the slide show settings pop up apprears then click Start and randonly one of three things happens:
1. A blank screen a2ppears and nothing else happens - the most common.
2. The slide show starts
3. A black screen with a small white window labeled Slide Show apears and nothing else happens - the least common.

In cases 1 & 3, hitting Escape takes you back to the review screen.

Just wondering if there was any progress on this?  I use slide show quite a bit and it not working at all is a problem.

The next build of PM6 will have this problem resolved.
