IPTC Stationery Pad
« on: April 11, 2007, 01:41:06 AM »
Hi

Just experimenting with 4.5 ...looks great at first sight.

I have a problem with the IPTC Stationery Pad (Mac OSX)

I fill out the feilds including those asterisked for 'These fields are only saved in the XMP data format' and then save the settings as MySettings.IPT (for example)

When I try to re-load these settings the asterisked fields are empty.

Surely these field entries should be remembered for applying when an XMP data file is present.

I understand that if XMP data cannot be written then it will not be; but at least the Stationery Pad should remember my values ...or am I missing something ?

Best wishes

Stephen

The IPTC format is incapable of saving those fields that can only be represented in XMP.  Just save your IPTC Stationery Pad as XMP instead.
