I have been trying out making collections of my 4 and 5 star images but I must be stupid because I seem not to be able to do it. I also assume that there is not basic instructions that would help.

I have been trying out making collections of my 4 and 5 star images but I must be stupid because I seem not to be able to do it. I also assume that there is not basic instructions that would help.

Try creating a collection folder first.  Right-click in the empty space in the Collections pane and you should see a menu with options.
