macOS Aliases

PM6 is displaying macOS aliases in the contact sheet (Unknown Files as Proxies) whereas PM5 ignores them completely.

Can we get the old behavior back and have PM6 ignore them no matter if Unknown Files as Proxies is enabled or not, just like in PM5?

Unfortunately when we converted to 64-bit and updated to the newer SDKs, we found that determining if a file is an alias is very slow.  So we no longer try to filter them out in PM6.

We could return that behavior but have it enabled via preference.

Thanks for confirming it was a known thing Kirk. It isn't that big of a deal to me, I can just turn off proxies.
