Best way to update catalog?

I updated a folder structure, moved some files, and deleted some. What is the best way to update the catalog without rebuilding it from scratch?

I noticed that the images I removed are missing the green dot on the lower-right side of the thumbnail, but I can't find a way to show me only those images so I can select them and remove them from the catalog.

There is no feature yet that makes synchronizing the catalog with a changed filesystem.  At this time the best way is to rebuild.
