Folder variables

Ever since v6, I cannot ingest into certain folders.  I always have this string setup - {iptcyear2}{iptcmonth0}{iptcday0} - {event} on my ingest menu and the {event} is entered in my IPTC template. It would always make a folder called for example - "191222 - Alabama at LSU".  Since v6. it just just does this - "191222 -".  Its like it ignores anything past the "-".

I use latest Mac OS build and the latest PM build.

I will investigate when I return from the holidays.  In the meantime, put the same value as you put in your template into the folder name field.

The {event} variable requires an IPTC record and this isn't available for the folder name of ingest.  IOW the folder name isn't tied to any particular photo so it needs to have variables that are independant of images.  We don't pull the Event field from the metadata template.

What I recommend doing is to put your event name into the User/Client Variables "Job" field, then you can use {job} for the folder naming and also to populate the IPTC Event field in the metadata template.
