Conor,

Kirk, I tried again to ingest this morning to the following path:

\Users/conor/PhotoMechanic_Tutorial/Ingest/PhotoMechic_LR Classic Test/20200422

I went to finder and no folder 20200422 is created.

Could this be the problem?

Hard to say.  It's difficult to troubleshoot issues like this via the forum.  Please call our support folks.  They can help you.

Conor,

Any ideas on how to solve this issue?

I'd like to see your Photo Mechanic log.  In Photo Mechanic go to the Help menu and choose "Reveal Support Data..." and moments later a Finder window will come forward with the zipped log file selected.  Use the 'Attachments and other options' link when you're composing your reply to this message and there you'll be able to upload your zipped PM log file.

But I really suggest you call our support folks.  There is no charge, even if you're using a trial version of Photo Mechanic.

Thanks,

-Kirk

Kirk,

Photo Mechanic log attached. See if there is anything in it that can clear this issue up. If not, I will contact support. I am not on a trial version as I took out a license last year

Regards,

Conor

Conor,

Photo Mechanic log attached. See if there is anything in it that can clear this issue up. If not, I will contact support. I am not on a trial version as I took out a license last year.

Please do the following:

1. Quit out of Photo Mechanic
2. Open up the macOS System Preferences and go to "Security and Privacy"
3. Under the Privacy tab, select 'Full Disk access' on the left hand side
4. Click the padlock in the bottom left to unlock it
5. Enter your administrator password to be able to make changes
6. Find Photo Mechanic in the list on the right and check the box next to it
7. Close the System Preferences window

Then try your Ingest again.  If it still isn't successful, please contact support.

Thanks,

-Kirk

Kirk,

Thank you, the images have been successfully ingested. I had ingested images previously and there had not been any issue.

Your help and assistance is much appreciated and I will recommend PM 6 to friends.

Regards,

Conor
