Unable to remove photos from catalog

Windows 10, PMP Build 4666

In the Browse tab, I am navigating to photos in the Folder Path, then highlight the photos and from the context menu I select "Remove Items from Catalog".  Nothing happens.  The items are always in the catalog even after changing catalogs and restarting PMP, so I cannot remove the items.

I re-indexed the catalog and still no joy.  There also seems to be no way that I can remove a whole folder tree from a catalog either.

This also happens in the Filer tab.

More info:

I select the photos and included them in the catalog and then removed them and all worked fine!

Maybe some hangover from previous versions of the catalog.
