Kim,

I'd like to see your Photo Mechanic log.  In Photo Mechanic go to the Help menu and choose "Reveal Support Data..." and moments later a Finder window will come forward with the zipped log file selected.  Use the 'Attachments and other options' link when you're composing your reply to this message and there you'll be able to upload your zipped PM log file.

Thanks,

-Kirk

Kim,

Thanks for the logs.  Is the following catalog no longer at this location? "/Users/kimagersten/Documents/Photo Mechanic Catalogs/catalog.pmdb"

If you open up the Catalog Management window (Catalog->Manage Catalogs...), do you see any catalogs listed with a message indicating a problem?

Thanks,

-Kirk

Kim,

This is what all my catalogs look like:

That's a screen shot from the Finder.  Can you open up the Catalog Management window in Photo Mechanic Plus and take a screen shot of it and post it here, please?

Thanks,

-Kirk

Kim,

Could you get the latest beta: http://forums.camerabits.com/index.php?topic=13531.0

Then after you run it, go to the Help menu and choose "Edit Debug Settings..." and then set the checkbox "CATALOG_DEBUG_LOGGING", then click the "Close" button.  Next restart Photo Mechanic Plus and repeat the steps that cause it to crash (it may not crash anymore, but do what you did before) and then from the Help menu, choose "Reveal Support Data..." and then post the zipped log here, please.

Thanks,

-Kirk

Thanks, Kim.  Does it still crash when you double-click?

Hello Kirk

No. If I open 600 pictures and don't wait for the black pictures to be real pictures and hurry to duble-click it doesn't crash.
But i have another problem, and that is I only get yellow dots, and no green dots. That was the same before. I only got green dots when I made the catalog, and the next day it was blank dots. Am i doing something wrong? I have the catalogs on my Mac. Mini and the pictures on 3 remote disks.

What is a "remote disk"?  A network disk?  Something on the "Cloud"?

Kim,

3 LaCie D2 desktop drives

So they're external drives connected by a cable (USB, FireWire, etc.) directly to your Mac Mini.  Do they all have the same volume name or are they all different?

Hello Kirk
This morning when i turned on my Mac Mini everything is fine. All the pictures have green dots. I will keep you informed if the yellow dots come back.
Thanks for all your help.
-Kim

I have one 2TB using USB 2, connected via LG 4K screen, one 2TB using USB 3, connected direct to Mac Mini and one with 4Tb using USB 3,1 connected via LG 4K screen
