Syncing GPS-data
« on: October 16, 2020, 12:46:34 AM »
Hi all,

How can I copy the GPS-info from one photo to a bunch of other photo's. SO, only the GPS-data with LocationInfo and not the rest of the IPTC-data.

Thanks in advance!

Rien.

I'm not sure I know what you mean.  What is this "LocationInfo"?

Hello,

Personally I use a "Temporary" Snapshot (in the "Set GPS Coordinates" window), to save my GPS position and copy it as a batch on the other photos.

Hi Kirk, "Event and Loctation": City, Location, State/Province, Country

If the images are all in the same location then use the Metadata Template to set them.  If they're all in different locations you can set their GPS coordinates and then use the Reverse Geocoding (the globe buttons) in the Metadata Template to fill them in from the image's GPS coordinates.

Otherwise if you have small groups, you can make multiple template snapshots of the hand-filled-in data (like Dub said) and apply them in groups.
