Catalog Sync feature
« on: December 04, 2020, 02:00:41 PM »
I am using PM+Build 5376 on a 2019 MacBOOK Pro running OS 10.15 with both my image collection and its catalog on a new external 6TB OMC Mercury Elite Pro hard disk,

After a FULL catalog Sync, I have added, removed, & changed filenames for several images using PM+ contact sheets.  Then, after doing another FULL catalog sync:
When searching for a specific month folder, the contact sheet display of the results shows several duplicate images!  It looks like "Sync" only adds items but does not remove previously cataloged items that are no longer in that folder,  What am I doing wrong, or how do I accomplish that?

Catalog Sync does not remove any images.  You'll have to remove the duplicates.

Thanks, Kirk.  Looking for a work-around: Would it make sense to just remove the folder from the catalog and "Scan to Catalog" again--especially when many of a 2-300 file of images have their filenames changed?
