Color Class Hide / Show - Functionality Change / Bug ?

I swear this used to be work differently - is this a bug ?

When switching between All / Selected / Tagged / Untagged in the Contact Sheet the current state of the "Hide / Show Color Class" filtering appears to be reset. Specifically when switching from Tagged > All with some Color Classes hidden the state of the Color Class filter switches back to all classes enabled.

Didn't it / shouldn't it as a Global Immutable View filter above the "All / Selected / Tagged / Untagged" view filter ?

I use it, or at least I thought I did, as a culling option to slowly whittle down a contact sheet full of images into different classes by Tagging > Show Tagged > assign Color Class > hide Color Class > View All > repeat - such that my total no of images decreases each time.
Having to reset the Color Class filter state each time is a pain.

I just looked at the code on macOS and it very intentionally resets the rating and color class filters to all on when "All" is chosen on the view menu.  "All" does mean all.
