Copy/Rename Issue

I keep getting this when ever I ingest photos, started only recently:

Unable to rename 'C:\Users\OM\Desktop\20210413_Memorial Day Israel\tmp.{4a580169-8da5-4ee5-9ffe-9665a253afa8}.CR2' to 'C:\Users\OM\Desktop\20210413_Memorial Day Israel\202104130004.CR2'.

I'd like to see your Photo Mechanic log.  In Photo Mechanic go to the Help menu and choose "Reveal Support Data..." and moments later a Windows Explorer window will come forward with the zipped log file selected.  Use the 'Attachments and other options' link when you're composing your reply to this message and there you'll be able to upload your zipped PM log file.

Yes, thank you.

I see renaming errors.  This is likely due to permissions problems on the folder containing the files, or an access control list that is inherited from a parent folder.

You stated that this only started recently.  Since you've been using the same build of Photo Mechanic 6 for a while, it isn't a change in the application because it has not changed.

So what part of your workflow has changed?  Are you ingesting to a different location than you were using before?  What happens if you try a different destination directory?  Does it work then?

I will try, but I get that in two different computers...so hard to say
