Date string for Ingest
« on: July 18, 2021, 07:17:39 PM »
I have just switched from PC to Mac. The workstation class PC died abruptly and took all my settings and preferences with it. Grrrr! I kept all my Photomechanic stuff in a folder, useful strings etc. Gone! Image files were all properly backed up of course. It made me realise how important all those years of constantly refined settings and preferences are.

For the life of me I can't reconstruct the date string in Ingest that I've been using for years. Today is 19 July 2021. I want a filename that looks like this: pwp-20210719-0001.  I get the pwp (my business name) and sequence, but the date construction? I used this: pwp-{year4}{month}{date}-{seqn} but it comes out pwp-202114-7-21-0001

Forgive my brain fade. Help!

I used this: pwp-{year4}{month}{date}-{seqn} but it comes out pwp-202114-7-21-0001

Try {month0} and {day0} to get two digit month and day with leading zero if less than 10.

Thanks Odd and Bob. Both strings work perfectly. :)
