Requesting the ability to digitally sign assets on import, starting the chain or trust or provenance of the assets. This might be done with a drop down of pre-configured manifest information, or a button with a pop-up window to fill in the data.
This capability would allow the author to embed important provenance information directly on import, which then stays with the asset in the metadata and viewable in Photoshop et al. By creating the signed hash on import, all changes to the asset can be tracked and verified from import to publication.
Additionally, requesting the ability to use PM to identify assets which have CAI data embedded.
