Merge / integrate existing PM catalogs

Hi there!

It would be cool if we could merge catalogs by an "integrate existing catalog" button. It took 3 hours to build the 800mb catalog files of my external drive and let the computer index all these files again even though the database files already exist is kind of wasting time and energy (CO2!)

This would be really helpful.  Lightroom has an import from catalogue option, which is so useful when travelling: create a new catalogue on my laptop when travelling, do some edits as I go along, then import from the laptop catalogue into my master catalogue when I return home - all the edits and keywording from the imported catalogue are preserved and imported into the master catalogue without having to redo anything.
