If a folder and subfolder are opened in a contact sheet, the title of that sheet is the name of the parent folder.
But when the Command+/ action is pressed, the contact sheet will not load new photos into the contact sheet if they are in new subfolders, like exports from a raw developer of edited photos into the same parent folder, but a folder of edited exports.
Given that the title of the contact sheet is the parent folder, and that this is a fairly likely workflow, it would be nice to have the Command+/ action scan not only old folders but also new folders within the parent folder being viewed.
I've run into this very situation a number of times and it's a little irritating and error prone having to go open the other folder(s) manually within the sidebar and add them to the contact sheet, instead of just doing Command+/.
And also, it's necessary to collapse and expand the parent folder in order to see the other subfolders within it. And when doing so, often the scrolling side menu changes positions by trying to fill more space up. And so in order to expand the parent folder after collapsing it, one has to move a distance across their big screen and carefully find the small arrow icon again after already doing the same thing once, just to click it again.
And all that could be avoided if the Command+/ just checked for new subfolders if the current sheet was named the name of a parent folder and containing subfolders of photos being viewed already.
