where is the Undo button?
« on: April 14, 2022, 04:16:54 PM »
Have tried several short-cuts and keystrokes but cannot find an Undo button.  Any chance of getting that option?  PM is great, but my fingers hit keys too fast and make mistakes.  Thanks.  --marcopolo

Undo what kinds of changes?  You can undo while typing text, but once you've applied the changes to the files, there is no undo.

Here are a few of the actions I've have performed and instantly realized I should have triple checked that action I just took (clicked).

-Renaming a batch of files (ctrl M) with not exactly the best name.  So I rename them again, with the adjustments I left out of the first name change.
-Clicking on an image before changing the screen to show only selected images.  So, I go back thru the photos and re-select.
-Untagging all the images (cntl -) then realizing there is one more operation I should have performed before untagging.
-Replacing a word or other data using Find and Replace (shift ctrl F), then realizing I forgot to click Whole Words, or Case Sensitive.  So I do it again the right way.

The need to undo and redo actions like this are solely my problem but the undo feature sometimes helps.

Thanks.  You have a great program that helps enormously.  Glad I ran across it.  --marcopolo
