Move images to two different locations
« on: January 08, 2023, 02:48:31 AM »
I have decided to move my RAW (NEF) files to two external backup drives and only retain the edited files (TIF) on my iMac. However, every time I try this using the Move command it only shows me one destination, the first external drive, and I cannot add the second external drive. I can insert the first drive OK but cannot get PM Plus to insert the second drive in the box to the right of the first destination.

There must be something I am not doing which is obvious.

Any suggestions?

When I try to move the images I right click and then select Move but would prefer to move images to two drives rather than just one drive and then have to duplicate the original external drive.

Thanks in advance

The box to the right is not for a second destination, it is for typing the name of a folder that you wish to create within the folder whose path is shown to the left.

Copy the files to the first destination then do a second operation and move them to the second destination.

Thanks for the answer.

Maybe a request for such a facility in a future update/upgrade?
