(Alias) folders shown incorrect

Hey all,

Got a question, and I got the feeling that this has been asked before... But cannot find it. Reinstalled Photo Mechanic on my new Macbook and on this computer is shows some folder (alias) as an unrecognized file. Is there a way to hide these? On my old computer this was not visible.

If you go to the View menu at the top and uncheck "Unknown files as proxies"  does that help?
