File renaming

I know it's in the manual, I just can't find it.  I need to rename folders of files to cut off the first 4 characters and keep the rest. For example, I need to change _DSC1234.jpg to 1234.jpg  Can someone help with the command?

it's easy: {filenamebase:4}
This will cut off the 1st four characters.

{filenamebase:-3} will keep the last 3 characters.
