Hi, I have a problem with exporting the raw BW file to jpg with its original color profile.
Which option to use in the save operation to obtain color jpgs?

There is no option.  The preview in the RAW file is in greyscale and PM is saving out that greyscale image.  You'll have to do that work in an application that lets you render the RAW file again in color.

I remember that in a previous version of PM you could set the jpg to be saved in color.
In fact the raw file always contains color information, even if shot and displayed with a BW color profile.
For example why can't I set this option? "use embedded preview"

Photo Mechanic uses the embedded preview in the RAW file when saving out from a RAW file regardless of the destination image format.  It does not have the capability of rendering RAW files directly.  PM does offer the ability to utilize an installed Adobe DNG Converter as a RAW renderer of sorts, but it offers very poor performance.  If you enable that feature then the popup should give you an option to render the RAW file when saving.  However, that setting is global, affecting all rendering of RAW images (thumbnails, previews, etc.) and will slow down the use of PM significantly.

So as it stands with your current settings, if the RAW file contains a B&W preview, that's what you'll get when you save from it.

However, if I understand correctly, PM already has a built-in randerizer, different from Adobe DNG. How to unlock this feature?

The feature is not unlock able, we had hoped to add it into Photo Mechanic 6/Plus and the work was not completed. The only option for rendering RAW images is Adobe DNG converter.

I have another inexplicable problem. 
Why does Adobe DNG render on some computers and not work on others?
I tried in 5 devices:
- In my macbook pro 13'' (intel i5) it's fine.
- On two other Windows PCs (i9 win 11 and i7 win 10) it's fine.
- But in another macbook pro 14'' (M2) and in a Windows PCs (i7 win 11) it doesn't render and doesn't convert sony photos (.arw) to color.
Can you explain this anomaly?

Are your preferences pointing to the correct location of the software on the computers where it isn't working?

Yes!
I selected the directory where Adobe DNG is installed.

In fact when I open PM (with Adobe DNG enabled) the file names are red, then they become white, but the photo previews remain in BW.
Adobe DNG processes the raw files but is unable to convert the color (does not delete the BW preview embedded in the raw).
