Sharpness.

Hi. Just a quick question.
I often feel the photos viewed in the preview window always looks sharper than when viewed anywhere else. If I view it in photoshop to fit screen and then view it in photo mechanic plus in the preview screen also to fit screen it looks way sharper.  Is this just the way it displays files or is there a sharpening thing going on somewhere on the background.

There is a "Sharpen previews" checkbox in the Preview page of the Preferences dialog.  Yours is probably checked.
