Hello Everyone,

We are pleased to announce an update to Photo Mechanic Plus for macOS and Windows.  This new build of Photo Mechanic Plus addresses a number of issues present in the 6890 build.

macOS:

On macOS, Photo Mechanic Plus requires macOS 10.15 or higher  If you are using a Mac with macOS 10.14.6 or older, you will need to upgrade to macOS 10.15 or higher to use Photo Mechanic Plus.

On Windows, Photo Mechanic Plus requires a 64-bit edition of Windows 8 or higher.  If you are using Windows 7, or lower, you will need to upgrade to Windows 8 or higher in order to use Photo Mechanic Plus.

• Fixed: Crash when unpacking malformed IPTC-IIM data.
• Fixed: Variable substring extraction can cause a semi-colon to be replaced by a comma in repeating fields.
• Fixed: Problem viewing Xiaomi HEIC images.
• Added: Support for Exif GMT offset tags.
• Added: {subsecond} variable is now four digits.
• Added: Use GMT offset from xmp:CreateDate if photoshop:DateCreated does not have it.
• Removed: The following Searchable Fields: 'filehash', 'percep_hash_8', and 'percep_hash_4'.
• Updated: libheif and libde265 libraries to the latest available versions.

macOS:
• Fixed: Rendering issue with Catalog-related windows and panels on macOS Sonoma 14.3.
• Fixed: Remove crop shortcut clears constrained crop options.
• Added: Increased font size in activation dialogs.

Windows:
• Fixed: License deactivation through application not possible.
• Fixed: Rescan after changing view to show or hide proxies.
