Is it safe to assume that if you were to later go back and replace the WAV file that was moved with Live Ingest with one copied directly from the camera card using a card reader, the file doesn't get cut off? If you use some other application to playback the WAV file, that the same amount of audio is cut off, right?
Does the issue seem to correlate with the size of the file/length of the audio clip?
This may be tough to test, but are you able to see the file size before Live Ingest copies it and compare it to the file size after?
Basically, there are a number of possibilities here: the camera could be not recording for as long as you want it to, Photo Mechanic may just not be playing back the full length of the clip, the full file might not be getting transferred in the time that Photo Mechanic is waiting for it, and probably other possibilities. Have not had anyone else report this thus far.
