PM6 Keeps wanting to open same folder when launched

Every time I launch PM, it wants to load a contact sheet from a folder I only used once. This has been the case for almost two years. I can't figure out how to get rid of the "default" folder, and maybe not even have it preselect a folder for me. How do I change this? I can't seem to find anything in the HELP file. Thanks!

It sounds like you have Photo Mechanic's Startup preferences set to Restore Contact Sheets from last session. This is on the General preference page at the upper left section.  If you use the Do Nothing option, Photo Mechanic will just open a blank contact sheet when it starts.
