Subscription for long time users
« on: October 23, 2024, 08:44:18 AM »
Good morning.  Just making sure I didn't miss something.  I am a longtime user and wanted to make sure that I am still able to update my PM+ with new versions or if I needed to become a subscriber now in order to get those updates?  It appears the application is now different so that's why I am asking.  If I read things correctly on the website I will need to move to an annual subscription.  If so how do I update my current account to the new model?
Best,
Vincent

Your license of Photo Mechanic Plus will continue to function perpetually as long as you maintain your current hardware/operating system.  It is scheduled for one more update for some bug fixes, but not for new features.

All new features are added to the subscription versions (monthly and annual) OR perpetual licenses purchased after March 11, 2024. An overview of recent feature additions is on this page: https://home.camerabits.com/whats-new-in-photo-mechanic/

If you would like to upgrade your older Photo Mechanic Plus license, you can contact our support folks and they can handle the process and let you know what upgrade offers may be available based on your specific license.  You can move into a monthly or an annual subscription, both of which continue to receive feature updates as long as your subscription is current.  Alternatively, you can choose to buy a new perpetual license. The perpetual license will receive feature updates for one year after your purchase but will continue functioning as long as you maintain a compatible operating system.
