On the Mac, I seem to have a choice of three versions: that that I can download from my subscription page (a couple of months old), a Universal Binary version and another version from the Annoucements forum section. (In addition I have the old x86 version.)
Which should I be using, if I'm not using any new features and just want an energy efficient, snappy preview version?
(In an ideal world, I'd have a version that used some of the Google/Azure/Amazon imaging keywording features to get me started on keywording / captioning, but there are various Lightroom plugins that fill that gap.)
