Find... and Select
« on: November 20, 2024, 10:08:45 AM »
The Find dialog works great for finding images -- but I can't find a way to Find and Select all the images that match the find criteria.  See attached screenshot:  Here I am looking for 6 images, which I've listed in a comma separated list -- and the Find dialog only selects the last one on the list.  Is there a way to Select all that meet the Find Criteria?

BTW, the filename list is a "Lightroom Copy List" from Pixieset.  Pixieset lets clients tag their favorite images, then saves the list (with or without commas), so you can use Lightroom's Find dialog to just see those selected images.

First, uncheck 'Whole Words', because whole words is for finding words that are not part of a longer string (for example, if you wanted to find 'book' but not 'bookkeeper', you'd want to use whole words).

Next, don't separate the items by commas, because that is going to include the commas in what it is searching for. Just separate the items by spaces.
