Exporting Previews

I would like to post to the web/Instagram from the previews if the originals are not available.  However that option is grayed out when the external drive with the originals is disconnected from my laptop.  Could you possibly enable/create such an option?  Otherwise I'd have to track down a perfectly usable JPEG from the cache...

Which part of PM Plus are you using?  Photo Mechanic has no Instagram uploader template.  Are you trying to use Save As or something else?

I upload to SmugMug but would like to copy or save from contact sheet to share the preview.

Photo Mechanic Plus would have to be modified to allow proxy images to be used in the ways you're asking about.  It currently does not allow this.

Please consider it a feature request!  A simple checkbox "use previews" for Upload.
