Cannot import cropped photos to Capture One

I am running Photo Mechanic version 6 (2025.6) build 8622 on a Mac OS Sequoia 16.6.1.

Still new to PM but hoping someone knows if there is a fix or if it is not possible.

After cropping my raw photos, I need to export to Capture One to do my edits.  I have tried to point C1 to the directory where the cropped photos are saved and tried exporting (CMD-E) the selected photos.  Unfortunately, only the original photos are exported without the crop.

Hoping someone has a solution or let me know if it is not possible and any cropping need to be done in C1 if I want to also edit the raw files.

It appears that Capture One has just added an update that should allow this to work. See the section called "Automatically Apply XMP Crop Metadata option" in their release notes: https://support.captureone.com/hc/en-us/articles/29341888893469-Capture-One-16-6-5-Release-Notes#h_01K2KS566BZ5ZG1ZNSHJMD5NEB

I haven't tried this yet to confirm it, but it should do what you are asking.
