Full Sync hanging
« on: January 11, 2026, 04:20:42 PM »
After consolidating my photos on the new RAID array, I've started a Full Sync.  It started checking for Missing Files, and In a few hours, it did 80%, then crept to 100% in a day.  However, the sync did not report a finish.  The catalog is greyed out with the check mark, saying sync completed, but the Start button at the bottom is greyed out.  If I click the Stop button, I get the stats, files in catalog 0, missing 0, etc, even though there was a bunch of missing files above.  The message says that the sync is aborted by the user.

What is the normal way the Full Sync ends?  How can I verify the ultimate integrity of the catalog?

I've attached a screenshot of what the Sync window looks like once it has finished. The name of the catalog that was doing the sync was only grayed out for me while the syncs as in progress.

I don't know why it would tell you that there are 0 files in the catalog. Given the previous issues you've been running into, I don't now that the forum is the most effective way for us to troubleshoot this. A phone call/screenshare would probably be more efficient. I'd recommend emailing support@camerabits.com to set up something up.
