IPTC questions
« on: June 21, 2007, 07:38:12 AM »
I have added numerous cities to my iptc pad only to see that some have disappeared. Any idea as to why?

Also, what is the advantage to checking the boxes to the left of the categories?

Thanks again!
Joe

Joe,

My guess would be that you are confusing the IPTC Info dialog with the IPTC Stationery Pad dialog.

If you don't set the checkboxes (the Apply checkboxes) to the left of the fields, then those fields will not be applied when you apply the IPTC Stationery Pad to the selected photos.

Is there a User Manual for Stationary pad? Or a help menu?

Not to my knowledge, but maybe someone from the UK can help find you an organization that offers training in the use of Photo Mechanic.

Have you downloaded and read through the 100+ page manual?
