Hard rotation
« on: October 10, 2007, 11:30:58 AM »
Photomechanic automatically rotates upright pictures through 90 degrees to match camera orientation.
However, if I send those pictures via FTP to software that does recognise that the camera was turned on its side, the pictures need to be rotated in that software - which may or may not be easy.
Is there any option on transmission to force the rotation (hard rotation?) to happen so that they are transmitted ( and subsequently opened ) in the correct orientation ?
Many thanks ... Martin K

There is no option in the FTP dialog to hard rotate your images during sending.  There is a tool on the Tools menu that can do this for you before you FTP your images, but it only works on JPEGs.
