text file supported?
« on: July 31, 2007, 12:29:40 PM »
Greetings

I would like to import a list of states into a field ( like "State" ), so I tried a tab delimited file, then a comma, and perhaps I scewed up, your ConVoc ( Keyword ) file required a UTF saved file as I recollect, clue and directions, I cannot believe I am the first for a import a State list file.

Kindly point me at this answer, I did not find it my searching on "text" "file format". Not a RTF.. Hmm Using Text wrangler perhaps some preference issue there...

The easiest thing to do is to add a State or two with the Edit States... dialog, and then export the list to a text file.  Then you can use it as a pattern (one state per line) to add your states in bulk.  Then use the Edit States... dialog to reimport the list of states.
