embedding copyright into photo

Hi,
I have been trying for days to to apply my copyright by applying the IPTC stationary
pad into a image with no success. I have done it once before, but since than no luck.

What am I doing wrong.

It sounds like the 'Apply' checkbox to the left of the Copyright field is no longer checked.  Set it to checked and apply again.

That should do it.
