Sort menu bar gone in 4.5.2?

After upgrading my demo to 4.5.2 I lost the sort menu bar in the top of the GUI. Is this a bug or are there any prefences I can set? I can't find any....

Have you tried starting up the application while holding the shift key?  This resets the menus back to their original location and might help in this case.
