Pixelated? Images
« on: October 29, 2008, 06:57:42 PM »
Kirk:attached is a screen shot showing a situation that occurs occasionally in PM. The in-focus area is pixelated/snowy. This will usually, but not always, disappear if I quit PM and restart. Im using MAC OS 10.4.11 and PM 4.5.4. Not the end of the world, but am curious as to why this occurs. Thanks, Richard

It looks like it could be a side effect of the sharpening algorithm...  Try turning off sharpening for previews and see if the problem goes away.

What happens if you view the image at 100% zoom?

Kirk: I have to wait until the effect re-appears. It occurs intermittently. Thanks, Richard
