More web galleries
« on: April 25, 2006, 05:22:30 AM »
Hi
Thank you for some very interesting updates in the latest beta version!
I have a big wish for future versions of PhotoMechanic.

It would be nice to have more options to choose from, when making HTML-galleries. It´s a fast and great feature, when you want to show your work to clients as contactsheets. But more different types of nicely designed galleries would be very welcome.
Maybe also the possiblility for clients to "click" or "choose" images in the gallery - and send the request back by mail.

Thanks for making this fantastic piece of software!

The plan is to support Photoshop HTML templates.  And we plan to support the EOS template which will give you the second request.  Both to appear in 4.5.

Yes,
Send in html with PM it,s the best way but there's no possiblity to put a valid (with click) email adress,
and the template is too simple.
For our clients we need more customisable.
Thanks for your work
Is it possible to have this in 4.4.4?  ;)http://

To do the email, your text needs to be:

mailto:email address

In 4.4.4?  No.

Sorry.  I was wrong.  There is no place to put it currently.

If you put a "mailto:" link in the "Home URL" field of the HTML export dialogue it will work fine.  However you can't also have a link back to your homepage obviously.

That's true, but I figure that it wouldn't be a workable solution.
