Specifying email account to send from

Hi everyone,

I've looked throughout the PM preferences and haven't found the answer to this question: Is there a place to specify which email account PM will send from when using the "Send photos via email" function. I have multiple accounts set up in my Apple Mail app, and depending who the recipient is I will often use different accounts.

No, there is no such facility.  You should be able to view the email in Mail and change the account before you send.

same thing with Thunderbird: is this possible to pre-define the sending account in PM?

The answer would be no, the same solution Kirk proposed earlier applies: simply preview the message in thunderbird and select the account you want there.  Actually this is one of the great features of TB: the ability to change the account within the message window with just one click!

No.  The interface to the Mail system provided by Microsoft is called MAPI and Thunderbird only supports the "Simple-MAPI" portion of the interface.  I have used only the "Simple-MAPI" interface in order to support as many email clients as possible.  Thunderbird's implementation of Simple-MAPI is mostly compliant.

sometimes, if I send a couple of mails at once, I forget on some mails to change the sending account...
nothing really important..
