Problem saving registration code
« on: October 02, 2007, 01:17:24 AM »
Hello,
i use photo mechanic 4.5.2 on MacBook Pro and iMac with MacOSX 10.4.10 (Intel).
I have switched from WinXP since two weeks.

On MBP and iMac, photo mechanic will lose the registration code, when the application is closed.

When i use the IPTC Editor (Command-m), the marked Fields will not be saved for the next time.
Is that the normal behaviour? On WinXP, all marked Fields are saved for the next IPTC Window.

Regards,
Chris

P.S.:Sorry for my bad english.

It sounds like you don't have write privileges to your /Library/Preferences folder when you're trying to register Photo Mechanic.  You only need to have Admin rights one time to register PM.  So log into an account that has Admin rights, run PM, register it, and then quit PM, then log out and log into your regular account.

As for the "IPTC Editor", are you describing the IPTC Stationery Pad, or the IPTC Info dialog?  Command-M is used to bring up the Rename Photos dialog.
